Comfortable beds, nice breakfast, great location near the beach, friendly owners.

We got incredible value for our money at Corner Hostel. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, with great amenities like AC and reliable wifi. The location was fantastic, just a block away from the beautiful beach, allowing us to swim and relax to our heart's content. The staff, especially Pamela and Sebastian, were outstanding hosts, offering valuable recommendations and making us feel welcome. We enjoyed chatting with other guests in the warm and friendly atmosphere of the outdoor sitting area. it felt more like staying in a hotel than a hostel, and we would definitely choose to stay here again.

The breakfast could have been improved with more variety.

The Corner Hostel offers a wide range of amenities, including a pool, outdoor BBQ/pizza oven area, and a shared kitchen. the property is also home to a large fruit and vegetable garden, providing fresh ingredients. the owners are friendly and welcoming, creating a great atmosphere. the location is ideal, with the beautiful Playa Farallón just steps away. a fantastic place to stay.

our recent stay in playa blanca was amazing - the corner exceeded our expectations! the rooms were clean and the food was delicious. we loved watching the birds and the staff was friendly and helpful. highly recommend staying here!

Shower didn't work.

The Corner Hostel in Playa Blanca was an amazing experience. The staff was kind and helpful, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was spacious. The beach was close by and the sea view balcony was a lovely bonus. The breakfast served was good.

During my Christmas stay, I really liked the friendly staff who made me feel welcome. the location was great, with easy access to the nearby beach, which turned out to be better than expected for swimming. the included breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of options.

I was disappointed that the shower water didn't get hot enough and the temperature in the sink was warmer. Another issue was that my bed linens were not changed after the previous guest left.

The stairs to our room were quite steep and difficult to climb, which was a bit inconvenient. there was no locking option on the balcony door, which made us feel a bit less secure.

The lack of hot water in some of the rooms was a downside. Also, the stairs to the rooms were difficult to climb and the balcony door did not have a locking option.

I stayed at The Corner Hostel in Playa Blanca for two nights during my Panama-Costa Rica road trip. Pamela graciously upgraded our room for free, and we ended up with a spacious room next to the pool. The AC and wifi were top-notch, and the included breakfast offered delicious choices like freshly made omelets, pancakes, fruit, toast, coffee. The mid-sized pool was perfect after a day at the beach, and there was even a 10% discount at nearby beach bar/restaurants Nico's and Coko Blue. it felt more like a hotel than a hostel.

I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The atmosphere was relaxed and filled with positive vibes. The charming hostel had a laid-back vibe and a fully equipped kitchen. I loved the huge balcony in my room and enjoyed the delicious breakfast. The hosts were super nice and made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. Great value for money.

The mattress in my room was a bit uncomfortable and the shower had no hot water. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs as there are roosters nearby.
